Addition of On-Call Worker Designation to Referral
The ability to document the response and name of an on-call worker is being added to the disposition window of referral. This is to be used when an on-call worker has physically responded to a case after hours. If the on-call worker only takes a report, that worker is considered to be only the intake worker (which is documented on the general tab of referral).
In referral disposition, the user must choose either the “Yes” or the “No” radio button answering the question “On-call worker responded?” If a “Yes” is selected, the user must select the name of the on-call worker in order to disposition the case. This functions identically to the Case Worker selection in referral. See image below.
Once an on-call worker is associated with a CPS case, the case will show up on the on-call worker’s case list since they will display as a secondary worker. The on-call worker may be “vacated” from the case any time after disposition by unassigning them in the Worker Assignment window. This process is the same as unassigning any other secondary worker.
